Farmfield Plantation, located in the
Route 302 equestrian corridor of Aiken, South Carolina, is on the
site of a former cotton field. This 40 acre parcel was purchased in
2007 by Alex Tyrteos and developed into a horse farm, comprising a
24 stall barn with a 2,000 square foot second floor apartment, a
large farmhouse with
swimming pool, a regulation-size irrigated polo
field and a jump course. The facility is located in the heart of
polo country, approximately 2 miles from the New Bridge Polo Club,
as well at the center of hunter-jumper venues on Route 302. It is
surrounded by extensive horse farms and cotton fields and has easy
access to riding trails.
